I Found the Love

As the song says "Make new friends but keep the old, One is silver and other's gold". This song will always remind me of my Mendel-Zeus Family. Because of them I found the love and we will celebrate it in our grand social ball.
"That's Amore" means "That's Love", way of NNCHS-SHS of socializing. It was a masquerade  ball for a cause. It was a day of love,  the day of knowing new bunch of friends.  A tool of showcasing the beauty of all the Grade 12 students of the Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School - Seinor High School

It was 19th of February when I attended the social night of SHS.  I can't hide my excitement because it will be another moment to be kept. I am amazed to see my classmates in their elegant and beautiful gowns and suits. Overwhelmed at the same time when I saw them walking in the red carpet wearing their creative and captivating mask; they were like kings and queens shining and

My experience during this grand ball is a memorable one.  I was assigned to be the one to bring the book of knowledge. Lucky I am that I was the one to deliver the speech as we turn-over the book to our successor, the grade 11. After the formal ceremony,  the atmosphere changed into a lively and colorful place as the disco lights started to turn and sounds started to beat. It was a time to do the social dance. We were so happy as we join our body movements in the beat of the song.  People were shouting,  sign that they were enjoying the event. I am really happy to see smiles on their faces. Seeing my classmates dancing with me together,  I cannot imagine that days from now we will be seperating apart and will face the new journey of life.  To my Zeus Family,  I will never forget all of you,  you mold me to be strong and independent person,  you taught me to be a man with courage to face all the challenges. You stand by me as we fought  the problems.  I Love You Zeus.

The food was great, set-up was nice, and the memories are worth to keep.

Temporary: A Moment of Goodbye

Yehey! My immersion just ended. I can't imagine that I will be attached to the work I have experienced during this 80 hours of training. I really experienced the best immersion that a STEM student should have. I really learned a lot of things. We had drawings and also see those computations in reality.
February 5, 2018, last day of immersion was a simple day. I am happy for I had accomplished my duty without any problems but deep inside me is sad that I will be leaving what I have adapted in the last 10 days. I realized that if you have given your time and effort for something, it will be hard for you to let go. Anyways, I am very lucky for having Provincial Capitol of Compostela Valley as my training institution for they really give us time and importance. They showed us the reality from basic drawing in the school. During my last day, I  was were tasked to accomplish everything: our accomplishment reports, daily time record and our trainee's record book. I rewrite my reflections and waited for the signing of our TRBs. We had also the time to thank everyone who had help us throughout the immersion. We had also picture taking after they released the booklets to us.
As I go back to my basic life, I will bring all the things I discovered and used all of this for making a best BUILDING of my future. The VOLUME of my skills is now enough to cover the AREA of my interest. The longer STEEL of knowledge I used, the more stronger FOOTING and COLUMN of understanding I will have. Now, the EXCAVATION of my future just started. Recently I finished my foundation and done the BACKFILL. After how many years VINCENT MARMITO's BUILDING WILL BE STANDING STRONG UNDER OF THE RAYS OF THE SUN AND SILENCE OF THE NIGHT. Thank you Provincial Engineering Office (PEO)for the learnings and opportunity, I will never forget what you have taught me. Te'amo.

Plan, Start and Build

As one of the stem students of NNCHS, I decided to choose Provincial Engineering Office of Compostela Valley as my immersion place.
January 28, 2018, my first day of immersion seemed to be a simple day. In the morning, I attended the immersion orientation for all students who will be immersing in the Provincial Capitol of Compostela Valley. All the inputs were prepared and explained well by our guest speaker, Mrs. Dinah Lynn I. Basco. The discussions were all about on how to deal with the environment of the working place. Officials were also introduced and the dos and don'ts were also emphasized.

In the afternoon, we were endorsed to the different departments of the place like Provincial Health Office (PHO), Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO), Provincial Accounting Office (PACCO), Provincial Government Office-Tourism and Provincial Engineering Office (PEO). I was asked by my teacher to be with them for some interview with Engineer Roderick Digamon, Provincial Engineer. During the discussion, my files were presented for formal endorsement. There were queries asked by Engr. Digamon. He then advised us to come back tomorrow for they will still with his staffs on how to cope and give us activities that would fit to our learning competencies given. They told us they can assure to give the best experiences that are worth to keep. I feel so excited and happy that they will really give their best to give us what we need. I am also very grateful to the warm welcome of all the employees of the Province to all of us. I was motivated to really pursue my career in college in just seeing those employees do their interesting works. During that time, I cannot wait to face the world of working.
These are all the things I have experienced during my first day of work.

Yes! We're Ready!, Yes! Yes! Yes! We're Ready!

As to the Department of Education, Immersion, 80 hours of working is a requirement for all the Grade 12 students before graduation. Thus, orientations and formal gatherings should be done.
Last January 5, 2018, a Pre-Immersion orientation and Send-off Ceremony of Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School Integrated Senior High School were attended by all the Grade 12 students who are qualified for Immersion.
The pre-orientation program conducted was an overview and deepened discussion of the work immersion process. I am thankful that the school’s initiative went well. I am now aware of the dos and donts when applying a job. I will always be grateful to all the staff of NNCHS for molding me and giving their very best to give me the best education I need.
As a Grade 12 student, I am excited for the 10-day training in the establishment I wanted to be immersed in. Immersion will be a great help to me for this will enhance my skills, grow my knowledge and let me be exposed to the environment I intend to take up in college. It is an honor, as a pioneering graduate of K-12 curriculum, to attend this ceremony.
At exactly 12:00 noon, the Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School gymnasium welcomes all the parents of the apprentices. I was happy that the parents were still able to attend the program on a Friday even though they had some important things to do at home or at work. It was really overwhelming that the faculty of Senior High School made their very best just to explain the inputs and outputs of this training. Seeing my mother come along with other parents gave me mixed emotions. I was very happy and touched by my mother's simple effort which meant a lot to me. For me, the most awaited part of the ceremony was the candle lighting of the students; it is a symbol of letting us students go beyond our academic ability and apply the things we have learned inside the school to our workplace. The light of the candle served as a light of the future; together with our supportive and loving parents, we will have a brighter path as we travel the real world. The gym was also filled with tears and hugs, a sign of students’ grateful appreciation and love to their parents. Everyone is now ready to show that the soon to be graduates of Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School Integrated Senior High School were already equipped in the field of working.
The success of the ceremony was with the combined effort and participation of all the students and teachers. It was indeed a memorable event of becoming a globally competitive individual of the community.
